Studierende der UNU im Rahmen des Studiums

Praxisbezug zum internationalen Krisenmanagement (Handeln von Akteuren in der Bewältigung von Ereignissen) in Anknüpfung an die Studieninhalte herstellen

nach Vorgaben der UNU-EHS

• UN international disaster response operations and support of affected countries during man made or natural disasters and conflicts;

• Formation of UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) team;

• Establishment and organisation of an On-Site Operations Coordination Centre (OSOCC);

• Requirements and functions of UNDAC team members, leadership, negotiation and decision making, effective risk and crisis communication;

• Safety and security on missions abroad, cultural awareness;

• Coordination of international assistance and humanitarian and emergency relief through the UN cluster approach in a realistic table-top exercise
